2010 - Fibromyalgia and the Guaifenesin Protocol
Although I was helped by clearing the mold from my bedroom and starting the Synthroid, I continued to experience Fibromyalgia and MCS and was in constant pain. I read the following book: What Your Doctor May Not Tell You About Fibromyalgia. The theory described in this book is that Fibromyalgia is caused by an excess of phosphate in your body, and that you can clear this excess by taking Guaifenesin (the primary ingredient contained in the drug Mucinex). I had also been prescribed the drug Lyrica in 2010. Between Lyrica and the Guaifenesin Protocol, my pain was lessening. I particularly credit the protocol described in the book above, but as I improved, I didn't want to stop anything.
