This filter provides Culligan's highest level of filtration: LEVEL 4 (reduces bad taste and odor, chlorine, chloramines (disinfectants added to many municipal water supplies), mercury, lead, zinc, copper, VOCs (volatile organic compounds), MTBE (gasoline additive)turbidity, cysts (e.g., cryptosporidium and giardia), atrazine (herbicide), lindane (pesticide), sediment and particles to 5 microns).
Filter life is 2 months or 8,000 gallons.
