This salt lamp is hand-carved from natural salt coming from the Himalaya Mountains of Pakistan. Himalayan Rock Salt Crystals assist in purifying air by neutralizing harmful pollutants and emitting health-promoting ions through a process only possible with the mineral salt. The lamp offsets the effects of positive ions given off by electronic devices. The lamp provides a warm, natural glow that makes any room more peaceful and inviting.
They are regarded as helping to provide Feng Shui cures for buildings that have "stuck" energy (chi). Cedars Sinai Health Systems has reported that “research suggests that some allergy-provoking substances, such as dust and pollen, have a positive electrical charge.
