Dr Bronner's castile bar soaps are made from organic coconut, palm, and olive oils. They are scented with organic essential oils. They contain no synthetic surfactants, no petrochemicals, no parabens, no phthalates, and no dioxane. The soaps are certified to the USDA's National Organic Program standards.
Dr. Bronner's is an American, family-run business (and they know what they're doing - they've been making soap for 150 years!) They pride themselves on their commitment to their employees and the environment. All major materials are certified both organic and Fair Trade. The soap wrappers are 10% hemp flax and 90% post-consumer recycled paper.
Scents include:
- Lavender: scented with organic lavandin & lavender oils. It provides a soothing bathing experience, replenishing body and soul.
- Peppermint: scented with organic peppermint and mentha arvensis oils. It creates an exhilarating, tingly-cool body space and increases vitality and clarity.
- Eucalyptus: scented with organic eucalyptus oil. Use this soap for an intense, invigorating shower. It dissolves sluggishness and sloth of spirit.
- Lemon: scented with organic lemon oil. More than most citrus oils, lemon is refreshing and stimulating for the skin.
