Recycled Cotton Rugs

These eco-friendly cotton rugs are made with very high-grade recycled cotton (pre-consumer) from textile mills in India. The cotton is dyed using low-impact, organic dyes. It is then triple washed to prevent color transfer and placed in the sun to dry. Finally, the rugs are hand-woven on manual looms by artisans.

We recommend also getting a rug pad to prevent slippage and color transfer.

Environmental facts: By using low-impact, organic dyes, residual dye water can be used to irrigate vegetables and mango trees that surround the manufacturing plant.

Labor facts: All artisans work according to fair labor practices.

3’ x 5’ – Hallways, kitchens, mudrooms

4’ x 6’ – Under coffee tables, futons, sofas

6’ x 9’ – Under dining tables

2½ x 8’ – Hallway runners

There is also a 2'x6' size available in select colors (aquamarine, coffee, cool mint, natural, olive, and multi-color). This size is nice as a narrow runner or for yoga practice.
