This moisture-resistant, puddle pad is made with 100% certified, organic Merino wool (28"x52" and 1/8" thick). A wool pad is the best, natural way to protect your mattress or futon. We recommend using the organic cotton pad for absorption and extra and protection - especially if you have a toddler that may take off their diaper in the crib. Wool rarely needs washing because bacteria and mold do not grow on wool. Wool naturally resists mildew, bacteria, and dust mites.
By choosing certified, organic wool, you can be assured that the sheep range in large areas and are fed a good diet. No carbonizing, mothproofing or shrink proofing is used. You may wash these in "Hand Wash" or "Delicate" with cool water; MUST hang dry. Dries within hours.
