This beautiful crib is handcrafted of solid hard wood by Amish artisans and finished with natural tung oil. The crib is available in Cherry (as shown), Ash, Oak, or Walnut. It's design is both classic and stylish.
Because the crib is made from solid wood, it doesn't pose the formaldehyde risks that come with cribs made from compressed wood or MDF. A report issued by Environment California in May, 2008 revealed that 6 products – out of 21 nursery furnishings it tested – emitted formaldehyde at levels high enough to trigger allergy and asthma attacks in children.
This crib may be converted to a toddler bed or to a comfortable bench/reading nook (conversion kits sold separately).
