Combat biting insects with ingredients from nature. Buzz Away Insect Repelling Spray contains pure essential oils: citronella, cedarwood, eucalyptus, lemongrass, and peppermint. These oils provide a fragrance that is pleasing to humans and hated by insects. Buzz Away also contains water, denatured ethyl alcohol, and modified castor oil (to make it water soluble). Buzz Away contains no petrochemicals, no preservatives, and no DEET or other toxins.
In addition to mosquitoes, Buzz Away repels ticks, fleas, gnats and flies. According to the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), "when repellents containing oil of lemon eucalyptus were tested against mosquitoes found in the US, they provided protection similar to repellents with low concentrations of DEET." And Buzz Away's formula was found to be 95% effective after 3 hours in studies at the University of Guelph in Canada. And fisherman: unlike DEET-based products, Buzz Away does not repel fish!
