This stainless steel drinking bottle features a light-weight design, two openings and a removable inner gasket for easy cleaning. The cap is polypropylene (#5), a type of plastic that does not contain bisphenol A (BPA) or phthalates.
You've probably heard by now how bad single-use water bottles are for the environment, and Americans buy 50 billion single-use water bottles every year!
- 88% of plastic water bottles are not recycled, ending up in landfills where they take 1000 years to decompose
- 17,000,000 barrels of oil were used to make bottled water containers sold in the US in 2006
- 3 to 5 times as much water is used to make the containers as is in the bottles
- Much energy is required to transport the water from factory to retail store
- Many plastic water bottles contain BPA, widely thought to be toxic to humans
And, bottled water may be no more pure (or may be even worse) than tap water.
Our stainless steel drink bottles are an eco-friendly alternative to single-use bottles. They are reusable, dishwasher-safe, and have none of the chemical leaching issues associated with many plastic bottles. The 16 oz. bottle is double-walled to insulate your beverages and to minimize sweating.
The bottles are about 3" in diameter. The larger bottle is about 10" tall, and the smaller bottle is about 7" tall.
