These Smart Strip powerstrips are truly ingenious – they’re especially designed for home & office computers and home entertainment centers. Simply plug the “master device” (e.g., a PC) into the blue outlet. Then whenever you shut down the master device, the powerstrip automatically turns off all peripheral devices plugged into the white outlets. Use the red outlets for devices (e.g., lamps or cordless phones) that you use when the master device is off. Prevents "power-bleeding" from devices when they are not in use and saves you time shutting down your electronics. These devices can pay for themselves in energy cost savings in just a few months.

The BLUE socket is for a "master" device. The WHITE sockets are for devices that should never be on, unless the master device is turned on. The RED sockets are for devices that you use irrespective of the master device. |
