Compressed coffee logs have 25% more energy than wood equivalents and 3 times the flame per unit of energy.
Java-Logs produce significantly fewer emissions than firewood:

- 5 times cleaner particulate matter means less air pollution and less carbon monoxide
The logs use a renewable, natural vegetable wax binder (other logs contain petroleum waxes).
All packaging is 100% recycled so you save additional trees. Production of these logs diverts nearly 25 million pounds per year of coffee waste from landfills.

They are easy to light - with just one match you can light both sides of the wrapper, then sit back and watch your fire grow.
