Mabu Wood Fiber Cleaning Cloth |

|
Mabu cleaning cloths are now available in the U.S. The Mabu cleaning cloth is made from 100% natural wood fiber. It features an 8-layer design that promotes durability yet provides for a soft touch. A tight weave means that debris is not trapped, so the cloth does not get dirty and sour-smelling like ordinary sponges. Mabu cleans and dries with a single stroke. You can use it with soap, but the Mabu cloth performs great with plain water.
Because the wood fibers are naturally bacteria and stain resistant, simply rinsing your Mabu under cold water leaves it fresh, white, and clean. When finished washing up, wring out the cloth and either hang it or lay it flat in a well ventilated place. If necessary, Mabu can be machine-washed (use a cold temperature and do not dry in dryer), though it may shrink moderately and may wear faster.
Mabu is stiffened for packaging with a harmless, edible starch which washes out with the first rinse.
We use ours primarily around the kitchen (for dish washing, cleaning countertops and cabinets, polishing stainless steel, etc), but it also works great in dining rooms, bathrooms, workshops, garages, or at the campsite.
Studies performed by ACTS testing labs in Toronto, Canada indicated that nearly 99% of common household bacteria rinsed out of the Mabu cloth without the aid of detergents or chemicals.
Save money on paper towels and sponges and send less trash to the waste stream. You won't be missing your kitchen sponge!
